PLEASE NOTE: Our poles are intended for indoor use only or undercover out of weather/moisture.
Poles cannot be assembled on slanted/raked ceilings.

Our plant poles arrive in a fully gift-able box and features;
The assembled pole extends up to 2.79m.
4x hooks - each 29cm long, each hook holds up to 4kg per hook. White hooks will have a slight discrepancy on the end and of the hook, this isn’t a fault but how the manufacturing process occurs for the white hooks.
1x pole adjustable that extends from 107.6cm - 165.3cm pole diameter is 3.2cm at the base and 2.9cm at the top end.
1x pole - 108cm in length, 3.5cm diameter at the base end and 3cm diameter at the top end.
1x short stopper - 7.4cm diameter at the base, 3.4cm diameter at the neck and 4cm high, has a silicone non-slip base.
1x longer stopper - 7.4cm diameter at the base, 3cm diameter at the neck and 14.2cm high, has a silicone non-slip base.
The pole has 33 adjustable positions.
An additional 58cm extension pole can be purchased which will extend the tension pole up to 3.25m more extensions can be added as needed.
PLEASE NOTE: Pole does not come with hanging planter pots, they can be purchased separately through our website.

Poles are made from Carbon Steel and are coated in a high temperature electrostatic finish.
Our hooks are made from A3 Steel and are coated in a plastic spray and non slip dipping plastic finish on the ends. Please note that due to our manufacturing process our white hooks have a small ring around the hook end that attaches to the pole, this is not a fault.
Also available in a black colour option, extra hooks and a tray option available now.

We offer capped standard shipping on all orders within Australia at $15.00, for international orders please head to checkout to complete a shipping calculator.
We aim to have all orders dispatched from our warehouse in 2-4 business days from time your order is placed. Delivery times will vary depending on your location.
Please note – Once item is shipped from our premises your parcel is out of our control and in the hands of our preferred delivery service. You will receive an email when your order has been shipped which will include tracking details, please check your junk folder as sometimes this is where these emails end up!
Please refer to tracking email for delivery updates and estimated arrival time. Arrival time depends on where you live and which shipping service we use for your location but rest assured you should receive your order within 10 business days within Australia from date of dispatch. For international orders up to 28 days.
Orders will be sent via Couriers or Australia Post. Orders will be given authority to leave by our postal service. If you do not wish for your order to be left unattended, please leave a note in the cart.
If your order arrives damaged, we require notification within 12 hours of delivery plus photo evidence of damage.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Our poles are fully adjustable from 2.21m up to 2.79m when assembled with both poles. Can be assembled with just one (adjustable) pole which can be set up on a bench/table which adjusts from 1.220m up to 1.774m
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Poles should not be stored or assembled out in the elements, they are designed to be used indoors or in an undercover sheltered area.
To clean, wipe over with a damp cloth and follow with wiping over with a clean dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.
If pole gets wet, dry off as soon as possible and sit in a warm sunny spot to completley dry out.

This company and the product is really amazing. I love the tension pole and it makes my living area look amazing. I had an issue with the delivery as the courier damaged the product. I contacted urban greenhouse and they sent out a new part. Quick reply and fantastic customer service!

Lovely to have a plant pole again (after 40 years!). I have made some macrame hangers and it is fully populated with the plants that were taking over the floor. Easy to assemble and well made.

I can't express how utterly disapointed i am in this product. It is a flimsy, poorly designed and constructed saftey hazard.
Firstly the actual pole. No strength to it at all. My curtain rods have more structual integrity than this peice of garbage.
Secondly, adjusting the height of the pole. As shown in the picutures to adjust the height you need to click it into one of the holes that are about 1cm apart. Well what if the distance between the floor and roof doesn't allow the pole to click into one of the adjustable positions? To bad say the people at Urban Greenhouse. There is no way to make any fine adjustments. So you just have to hope your floor ceiling distance matches the pre-drilled holes. Mine doesn't so i've had to wedge it on an angle. So basically you're relying on good luck to be able to create any tension in the tension pole.
Finally the base as described above is only 7cm in diameter. Let's do some basic math. A flimsy curtain rod at 2.8 metres in length holding 4 pots at approx 3 kg each with a 7 cm base. Each 3kg pot is 30cm from the centre of gravity. The tension pole that doesn't let you adjust the tension. Grab a ruler and have a look at how wide 7cm is. Wide enough to support 12 kg of weight?? If you have a cat or a dog or a child or even just trying to sweep the floor the pole will be knocked and it will fall over. What part of your hourse would benefit from having multiple 3 kg weights falling on it from that height?
I thought perhaps i'd made a mistake with the assembly. No detailed instructions were included in the package. So i came back to this page and clicked on the "Watch our set up and installation video over on youtube here". There is no video. The link only goes to the Youtube homepage. So i did my own search and there is a video on youtube.

Unfortunately this confirmed my fears that i've been scammed. The video does not show "instalation" as claimed on this page. It shows assembly only. Take the two poles and join them. Add the two plastic stoppers on the end. Really?? Couldn't have worked that out. The video then cuts out. It does not show the owner installing the pole with any plants on it. I wonder why????
Charging $150 for a flimsy curtain rod that can't be adjusted to the correct height and has 2 peices of 7cm diameter plastic at the base and top for support. A dangerous hazard that if installed at a workplace would represent criminal negligence. A broken "How to" link on the product page. This is outright theft.
